Dr Mario Galdames is an Adult and Geriatric Medicine doctor practicing since 2008.

 

Dr. Galdames graduated from USAM Medical School in El Salvador. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford/Dixon program where he studied Family Medicine. He continued his education in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

 

Dr Galdames enjoys his spare time with his family. He is Real Madrid's number one fan and enjoys supporting the team and watching their games.  

Dr Reinaldo Camargo is an Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine physician practicing in South Florida since 2008. 

 

Dr Camargo received his medical degree from UIS School of Medicine in Colombia. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at St Barnabas Hospital Bronx, NY and then Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida.

 

Dr Camargo is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine for Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care.  He is also a Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care by the American Board of Post- Acute and Long Term care Medicine.

 

He enjoys spending time with his family and his hobbies include cycling and outdoors activities.

Valerie Eyma-Heywood MD graduated from New York Medical College and trained as a family practioner at NYMC at St Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers where she became chief resident and remained on staff as faculty as Recruitment Coordinator and Director of the Outpatient Health Center.

Upon moving with her family to Florida, her focus has been in Geriatric Medicine, she also has a special interest in women’s health.

 

 

Lenette Blanco is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who obtained her Masters Degree at Barry University in Miami, Fl. She has dedicated her career to working exclusively with the geriatric community. Caring for aging adults who most often have complex medical issues, she focuses particularly on keeping the patient functional and helping maintain quality of life. While honoring their wishes and collaborating with their family and healthcare team, always keeping compassion at the forefront of care.

Marcela Osorio is an advanced practice registered nurse specialized as a family nurse practitioner. She achieved her graduate degree at the University of Miami as summa cum

laude. She received two bachelor degrees, the first bachelor’s degree in Health Science at the University of Florida, Gainesville; and second bachelor’s degree in Science in Nursing at the University of Miami, Coral Gables.

Marcela Osorio is originally from Colombia, but has lived most of her life in South Florida. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and has beginner level Hebrew. Throughout her professional career, Marcela Osorio has experience in areas such as critical care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, urology and rehabilitation. Her personal interest include spending time with her husband and children, her dogs, Torah study and physical training. She sees patients at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sunrise.

 

Yamel Rodriguez is a board certified APRN, FNP. He graduated in 2016 from Chamberlain College of Nursing. He  provides Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine care to patients in south Florida.  Yamel is passionate about volunteering, patient education, and advocacy. In addition to English, he is also fluent in Spanish.Outside of work, he loves to spend time with his family and enjoys traveling.

Elianet Perez is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. Received her bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University; after graduation she worked at a critical care unit in Jackson Hospital in Miami before pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing. She believes that the best way to provide high-quality patient care is to acknowledge each patient’s individually that care should be patient-focused with the patient at the center of decision making. When she’s not working enjoys her family, music, traveling, gardening and cuddling with her dog.

 

Yaritza M. Pita Acosta is advanced practice registered nurse/family nurse practitioner with Adult and Geriatric Center of South Florida. Born in Cuba and raised in South Florida. She earned a master of science in nursing from Miami Regional University in 2022 and a bachelor of science in nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing in 2019. With her passion for healthcare, Yaritza provides exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring their well-being and delivering personalized attention. She approaches her patients with a warm smile and a desire to ensure each patient has a pleasant and individualized experience.
